Maamwesying Ontario Health Team and Health Sciences North Sign Collaboration Agreement

Maamwesying North Shore Community Health Services Inc., as a core partner of the Maamwesying Ontario Health Team and Health Sciences North, announced the signing of a collaboration agreement aimed at transforming health care for Indigenous peoples by embracing their unique cultural knowledge, traditional practices, medicines and improving access and awareness of Indigenous Health Services available in the North East Region.

HSN COVID-19 Assessment Centre Closing

After more than 3 years in operation, HSN’s COVID-19 Assessment Centre will be closing at the end of the month.

The last day for specimen collection at the centre at 56 Walford Road is October 23 and the centre will officially close its doors October 27.
