Health Sciences North (HSN) and the Health Sciences North Research Institute (HSNRI) are soliciting applications from residents of Northeastern Ontario who would be interested in serving a renewable term of up to three years, beginning no later than June 2025, as a member of either of their Boards of Directors.
The HSN Board is seeking members with professional experience related to law and communication information management. Preference will be given to individuals with experience supporting organizational equity, diversity, inclusion, accessibility and anti-racism.
The HSNRI Board is seeking members with a professional accounting designation and/or financial expertise, as well as members with professional experience related to research.
Individuals who identify as Indigenous, Black or racialized individuals, individuals who identify as 2SLGBTQIA+ and persons with disabilities or from vulnerable populations are also strongly encouraged to put forward an application.
Governance experience is an asset.
