MSK (musculoskeletal) Assessment Centre
The MSK (musculoskeletal) Assessment Centre consists of three areas where patients will see an Advance Practice Provider (APP).
- Hips and Knees - North East Joint Assessment Centre (NEJAC) provides patients with a comprehensive musculoskeletal assessment for those who suffer with hip and knee arthritis.
- Shoulders - North East Joint Assessment Centre (NEJAC) offers a simplified and streamlined approach to managing degenerative shoulder conditions. The goal is to optimize the patients’ mobility and quality of life.
- Low back - Inter-professional Spine Assessment and Education Clinics (ISAEC) improves health care delivery for patients with persistent or unmanageable recurrent low back pain-related symptoms.
Patients are seen in an outpatient clinic setting. You do not stay overnight.
Your family physician will submit a referral to the MSK Assessment Centre and then you will be contacted for an appointment. Please remember to bring a current list of your medications and your health card to each visit.
