Rapid Access Addictions Medicine (RAAM) Clinic

The Rapid Access Addictions Medicine (RAAM) clinic is a low barrier walk-in clinic for people looking for help with their substance use. Our staff have experience working with people who use substances and can provide you with help if you want to stop or reduce your substance use.

No referrals are necessary. However we do take referrals from health care providers or other healthcare agencies. We do encourage you to include your primary care team in your care.

Anyone 16 years of age or older who is looking for help with their substance use and can be safely supported in the community is eligible for services.

We offer the following services:

  • Goal oriented treatment
  • Safety planning
  • Brief supportive counselling
  • Education about substance use and treatment options
  • Diagnosis of substance use disorders and concurrent disorders
  • Medical management of substance use
  • Harm reduction education and connection with community agencies
  • Links to long term counselling, treatment, or other community providers
  • Links to appropriate community agencies
  • Connection and support to family members and loved ones of individuals who use substances
