The Outpatient Nutrition Counselling Program provides nutrition assessment and education to adults.  Services are provided by Registered Dietitians who are members of the College of Dietitians of Ontario and highly trained experts in food and nutrition. Dietitians work with patients to develop specific nutrition care plans.  They teach clients how to eat to help prevent, treat, and manage a variety of health conditions. A physician or nurse practitioner referral is required. 

Therapeutic diet counselling is provided for the following conditions:

   -  Malnutrition/Nutritional Deficiencies / Involuntary weight loss

   -  Enteral feeding

   -  G.I : IBS, Crohn’s, Pancreatitis, etc.

   -  Dysphagia

   -  Food Allergies

Parking Lot: 

Entrance to the Sudbury Outpatient Centre is located off York Street - directly at the top of the hill.  Upon arrival, you will notice a parking lot on the right-hand side. Patients are encouraged to use this lot. When you go through the gate, you will press a button, which will then provide you with a ticket.  After your appointment, you have two options,

  1. Bring the ticket to a “Pay Station” located inside the centre. You will then receive a validated ticket.  You will then use this ticket to exit the lot

You may pay with Visa or MasterCard at the gate on exiting the lot.
