Today we are celebrating the #HSNHeroes who welcome and screen patients and their designated care partners at our main, emergency, rehabilitation, outpatient centre and Northeast Cancer Centre entrances.
Our Point of Entry team was first created in March 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic and since then they’ve seen it all!
This hard working group screened almost 700,000 patients and care partners between March 2021 and March 2022. That’s an average of asking almost 60,000 set of screening questions per month!
