Red Dress Day

Red Dress Day

Thursday, May 5, 2022

On May 5 we recognize Red Dress Day in support of raising awareness of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and 2SLGBTQQIA+ people.

HSN and HSNRI stands in solidarity with Indigenous communities whom have lost their loved ones and we support their Calls for Justice.

The red dress is a powerful symbol to remember missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls and 2SLGBTQQIA+ people.

On June 3rd 2019, “Reclaiming Power and Place: The Final Report of the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls and 2SLGBTQQIA+” was released.
