HSN greatly appreciates the continued partnership with Premier Doug Ford and the provincial government in providing access to specialized care close to home for more than 557,000 people across 300,000 square kilometers in Northeastern Ontario.
HSN’s President and CEO, David McNeil, had an opportunity to thank the Premier for recent provincial investments in healthcare to support improved access to care, including an additional $30 million in funding for HSN last year.
We also appreciate the continued support from the province on our capital expansion plans.
Northeastern Ontario is poised to play an increasingly important role in driving Ontario’s economy through mining and critical minerals.
A strong health-care system is essential to attracting people, supporting communities and enabling that growth.
