It can be overwhelming anxiety that won’t go away. A moment of deep emotional distress. Substance use concerns. Thoughts of suicide. Or concern for someone you care about. In these moments, it can be hard to know where to turn, or even how to take the first step.
At Health Sciences North, we want our community to know one thing: You are NOT alone.
This video, available in English and French, highlights how our Crisis Intervention services are here to provide immediate, compassionate support, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Whether someone reaches out by phone, walks into our services, or connects through a mobile crisis response, our team is ready to listen, assess, and respond with care and understanding.
Our approach is simple but powerful: meet people where they are. That means offering support in the moment, helping to stabilize the situation, and connecting individuals and families to the care and resources they need moving forward.
Because a single conversation can change the course of a crisis.
Because reaching out is a sign of strength.
And because no one in our community should have to face their hardest moments alone.
