Significant Weather Event Update – March 17, 2026
We are happy to report that our teams are making good progress in getting back to full capacity. While most non-urgent procedures and outpatient clinics have been cancelled today, we anticipate being back to full capacity and regular operations as of Wednesday March 18, 2026.
If you have had an appointment impacted, our teams will be in touch with you to reschedule that appointment as soon as possible. We thank you for your patience.
Please note that snow removal from our parking lots remains a challenge. The Tim Horton’s in our main lobby is now open for food and beverage needs for staff and visitors.
We also want to thank the City of Greater Sudbury and all plow operators who have helped to maintain access to the hospital, including Paris Construction.
Lockerby Taxi Services have been assisting with transporting staff to HSN, as have Greater Sudbury Police Service.
We greatly appreciate the partnerships and support in helping our teams deliver high quality patient care.
