Please note that parking rates for visitors will be increasing as of April 1st by 4.3%. Daily rates will increase by 50 cents for preferred visitor and patient lots, with a maximum day pass rate going from $11.50 to $12.00. The price for the first hour of parking for patients and visitors will go from $4.00 to $4.50 for the first hour, and $3.00 to $3.50 for the second hour and remain at $2.00 for the third hour.
For non-preferred lots (Lots P1 & P2 & P5A) the flat exit rate increases from $ 8.00 to $ 8.30.
Discounted multi-exit 5 day H Passes for all lots will go from $28.00 to $30.00, 10 day H Passes from $50.00 to $55.00 and 30 day H passes from $95.00 to $105.00.
The last time rates were increased for patient and visitors was 2023. Parking rates will also increase for staff and physicians for the first time since 2016.
These rates are aligned with provincial parking guidelines and remains below the maximum allowable.
We understand it’s frustrating to pay for parking and inflation has increased these costs in recent years.
HSN uses parking revenue to offset expenses such as security, equipment and maintenance such as paving, line painting and snow removal service.
Net parking revenue is used to help us fund critical research and essential equipment for our patients and families.
