This year, your support made an incredible impact:
- A new cardiac procedure, made possible through donor generosity, allowed 100 patients to receive treatment life-saving treatment locally instead of travelling south.
- Donors are funding critical research that is improving care for people with breast cancer, colon cancer, and head and neck cancers.
- You are helping purchase equipment that keeps more pediatric patients close to home when they need specialized care.
Planning for a Healthier Future
Your impact goes beyond today. With your continued support, we are planning for the future. We are currently working toward a major capital expansion to address hallway medicine, expand pediatric services, and enhance the patient experience for the more than 600,000 people across Northeastern Ontario who rely on Health Sciences North for specialized care.
