Our Pediatric Diabetes Services Program has been integrated into NEO Kids at the Ramsey Lake Health Centre! This specialized program is dedicated to our youngest patients living with diabetes, and gives children and their families’ access to resources, education and ongoing support.
Children living with diabetes are most often diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, where the body no longer produces insulin. In order to live healthy lives, children must regularly check blood sugars, administer insulin and monitor what they eat.
A big thank you to our pediatric diabetes team for all that they do in caring for these young patients.
