For Black History Month, we are shining a light on Evelyn Tolulope (Toeloolawpair) Ladipo, SAP System Analyst at HSN.
Hi, I’m Evelyn Tolulope (Toeloolawpair) Ladipo, a proud Nigerian and dedicated professional with a strong academic background, including an MBA from the University of South Wales (United Kingdom), a Postgraduate Certificate in Human Resources from Cambrian College, and a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Lagos (Nigeria).
With over eight years of HR experience spanning full-cycle recruitment, benefits administration, and attendance management, I currently work as an SAP System Analyst. Prior to this, I held the role of Payroll Assistant. Additionally, I am a part-time professor at Cambrian College, where I teach Human Resources Management.
Outside of work, I love tennis, traveling (I’ve visited 17 countries!), and if I weren’t in a 9-to-5 career, I’d probably be an actress!
My experience as a healthcare worker has been both enjoyable and rewarding. Having a supportive team that believes in me has made a significant difference, and I’m grateful to be part of such an environment. Supporting the hospital's payroll team comes with its challenges, but having an excellent manager has made the process so much smoother. This support has allowed me to be myself and genuinely enjoy the work I do. Knowing that we ensure over 5,000 HSN employees are well-supported and satisfied with their payroll makes the job even more fulfilling.
I decided to join the event planning sub-committee because I’m passionate about raising awareness around inclusivity in the workplace. HSN has a wonderfully diverse workforce, and my goal is to help ensure that minority groups feel included and valued. It’s incredibly fulfilling to contribute to an organization where culture and diversity is celebrated. I look forward to seeing HSN Embrace, Honour & Celebrate different cultures as frequently as possible.
