Eli Smith and his mother met with the staff in our NEO Kids Gender Diversity Clinic when he was ready to learn about what the next steps would be as a transgender individual ready to transition.
“Doing research around other people’s experiences, finding statistics and talking to the nurses and doctors really helped me overcome my fears,” says HSN patient Eli Smith. “Taking the time to get to know the people I was working with and being able to open up and talk about my experiences was really important to me. They really gave me the support that I needed.”
The staff in this clinic, give patients like Eli the ability to truly feel like themselves.
