The Project SEARCH team at HSN recently attended the Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce Bell Business Awards where the March of Dimes Canada (MODC) won the Non-profit/Charity Excellence category for Project SEARCH.
HSN, along with the Rainbow District School Board and City of Greater Sudbury, are proud partners of the MODC and HSN serves as the Host Business for Project SEARCH.
In place at HSN since the fall of 2022, Project SEARCH is a unique school-to-work training program for students with disabilities that allows them to learn skills with the end goal of gainful employment.
With a 100% hiring rate for the first graduates of the program, Project SEARCH is a great example of HSN staff and managers sharing their expertise and passion for healthcare with young people in our community.
Congratulations to past and present Project SEARCH Interns and all the HSN staff who support the program. https://bit.ly/3KEVTGp
