Dr. Dennis Reich is a general practitioner, entrepreneur, mentor, and researcher with over 22 years’ experience in the Sudbury community.
The REB’s purpose is to protect the rights and welfare of human participants in research. It is made up entirely of volunteers, including clinical and research experts, lawyers, ethicists, community members, and patients, with Dr. Reich at the helm.
Their collaborative effort ensures that the many clinical research trials happening at HSN are held to the highest possible ethical standard, so that they are able to make the most difference for patient care.
As to what motivates him to continue his volunteerism, he shared that “volunteering in healthcare presents unique and profound opportunities to make a difference in people’s lives”, and hopes that his work can “inspire the coming generations to discover how they as individuals can make a difference” in the care patients receive at HSN.
