In 2017, HSNRI, Laurentian University and NOSM University partnered to create a satellite site of ICES in Sudbury – ICES North. ICES is an administrative database of all healthcare data for Ontario residents. Today, we are excited to share the next phase of ICES North. The site is going virtual as of January 27, expanding opportunities for Northern researchers to use administrative health data to improve patient care!
“ICES has a strong virtual network and has encouraged remote work during the pandemic. Given the North’s size, it makes sense to be the first completely virtual ICES site,” said Dr. David Savage, Director ICES North.
