HSN is introducing new parking rates as of February 5

HSN is introducing new parking rates as of February 5, 2024 at the Ramsey Lake Health Centre at 41 Ramsey Lake Road and our Sudbury Outpatient Centre at 865 Regent Street in Sudbury.

Please note that parking rates have not changed at HSN since 2016.

As of February 5, 2024, these rates will be set at $4.00 for the first hour, $3.00 for the second, $2.00 for the third hour, and a maximum cost of $11.50 for a day pass.

Metered parking rates remain unchanged at our sites at $2 per hour.

Weekly passes will be eliminated and 5 and 10 day passes introduced at a reduced rate. These passes will be available for purchase from the Finance Offices at both sites. The 5 day pass will be $28 and the 10 day pass will be $50.

Monthly Staff parking rates are not changing at this time.

Discounted daily rates for staff can be purchased through the 5 and 10 day pass at any pay station otherwise the new daily rate will apply.

We understand this news may cause frustration. Hospitals in Ontario do not receive any funding from the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care for any costs related to parking lots. These costs include maintenance such as snow removal and equipment such as the parking gates and pay stations. Even with this increase, HSN parking fees remain well below the maximum allowable under provincial directives for hospitals.

Every dollar received by HSN in net parking revenue helps us fund critical research for our patients and families.
