HSN's medical staff is using research and innovative approaches to introduce a ground-breaking classification of four stages of heart attack, detailed in a recent publication in the Canadian Journal of Cardiology .
Congratulations to the accomplished team, including Dr. Andreas Kumar, Dr. Roni Atoui, Dr. Anthony Main, and Suzanne Betteridge-Leblanc, for their outstanding achievement!
The classification will facilitate the development of novel, tissue-targeted therapies for heart attack patients, and will be used by all health care workers providing care for patients with heart attacks, and provides a better estimate of a patient’s risk of developing heart failure or other complications.
