The collaborative work of the cancer screening and Indigenous teams, many physician leads and community partners of the Shirley and Jim Fielding NECC, has led to successfully advocating for a screening pathway to respond to northern realities and Indigenous Peoples.
Recently, an award was presented recognizing their efforts in Toronto, at the Regional Indigenous Cancer Care Gathering.
