Today we are celebrating all the HSN staff who worked at the recently closed COVID-19 Assessment Centre since it opened in the spring of 2020. Always on the frontline of pandemic response for our community, this incredible team were a dedicated, innovative and inspiring example of HSN spirit in action.
The HSN Assessment Centre was one of the first to open in Ontario and provided a model for other hospitals across the province to set up their centres.
In the three years they were open, in two different locations, this hard working team facilitated over 200,000 COVID-19 PCR tests and provided almost 3000 patients with COVID-19 treatments.
