We are seeing a steady increase in the number of COVID-19 patients at HSN in recent weeks, and we are currently monitoring 3 active COVID-19 outbreaks.
In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and other germs and to help keep people safe, visitors are reminded that masks continue to be required at all times in all inpatient areas and patient rooms. Food or drinks are not permitted in patient areas.
Masks must also be worn at all times in high-risk areas including:
• Emergency Department
• Shirley & Jim Fielding Northeast Cancer Centre
• Oncology Unit
• Nephrology Unit
• Intensive Care Unit
• Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit
• Cardiovascular Thoracic
• Cardiac Medical Unit
Do not visit patients if you are not feeling well or if you have any of the following symptoms: cough, sore throat, fever, runny nose, vomiting and/or diarrhea.
