National Indigenous Peoples Day

National Indigenous Peoples Day

Wednesday, June 21, 2023

HSN is committed to improving health outcomes for Indigenous patients and their families. This year, HSN has established an Indigenous Health Advisory Council that will work to address and prioritize more effective methods of delivering services to Indigenous peoples.

Indigenous History Month and Indigenous Peoples Day provide the perfect opportunity for all of us to recognize and honour the strength and resilience of Indigenous Peoples and learn about their rich and diverse histories. Celebrating the significant contributions and achievements of First Nations, Inuit and Metis Peoples in Ontario and across Canada, is a small step all of us can take on the reconciliation path.
