About the KCC

The Kids Care Centre (KCC) is located in front of the main Health Sciences North building. We are a group of pediatricians who serve children and youth from birth until age 18.

Pediatricians see children/youth as it relates to difficulties with medical, mental health and developmental concerns.

What to Bring

Please remember to bring your child's health card to each appointment.
 

Medical Learners

When you come to the KCC, it is possible that your child or youth might also be seen by a medical learner. A medical learner can be either a resident (licenced physician continuing in specialized education) or a medical students (enrolled in a physician training program).
 

Parking at the KCC

The KCC has paid parking. When arriving, you can park in Patient Lot P9, next to the KCC. You can pay for parking at the pay station located inside the KCC, or use a credit card when exiting the lot.

To see a Pediatrician at the Kids Care Centre, a referral is required from a primary care health care provider. This can be:

  • a family doctor
  • a nurse practitioner
  • a midwife.
