Where to park close-by?

There are three types of parking lots visitors and patients can use while at the Shirley & Jim Fielding Northeast Cancer Centre. The signs at the entrances of the parking lots will tell you the type of parking lot you are entering. The colour of the parking lot sign will help you figure out the type of parking lot. The Parking lot map shows the parking lots as:

  • Patient/Visitor Lots are displayed as orange blocks, with orange signs.
  • Staff/ Visitor Lots are displayed as blue blocks, with blue signs.
  • Pay & Display are displayed as green blocks, with green signs.

All parking lots have a pay-as-you-go system where you only pay for the time you actually need.

How much does parking cost?

The cost of parking at the Cancer Centre may change over time. Please visit our parking webpage for more information.

What Happens if I lose my parking ticket?

When someone loses their parking ticket, they need to buy a lost ticket at the pay station. Go to a pay station and push the middle button just under the top screen and buy the ticket for $12.00. Then pay the ticket at the pay station like you would any other ticket.

Can I buy a parking pass?

You can buy a daily pass that allows unlimited access for 24 hours from any pay station terminal. You can buy monthly and weekly parking passes from the Finance office at Ramsey Lake Health Centre: South Tower - Level 1.

How do I contact security?

If you need to contact security while in the parking lot please press the button by the red sticker that is on the pay station.

Why do we have to pay for parking at the hospital?

Hospitals in Ontario do not receive any funding from the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care for any costs related to parking lots.

These costs include maintenance such as snow removal and equipment such as the parking gates and pay stations.

Every dollar that HSN receives that is above costs goes to fund health research.
