At Health Sciences North’s Research Institute (HSNRI), one of our greatest resources is our people! HSNRI offers a variety of exciting career opportunities, including staff positions for researchers and administrators, as well as training positions for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.

HSNRI Career Opportunities

The Health Sciences North Research Institute (HSNRI) aims to educate and train students and postdoctoral fellows in an exciting environment that promotes a vigorous pursuit of research and academic excellence.

HSNRI offers training opportunities to postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, and summer students. Working closely and collaboratively with Laurentian University and the Northern Ontario School of Medicine, HSNRI provides its trainees with an opportunity for both personal growth and academic advancement.

 

Graduate Students

HSNRI Scientists who are actively recruiting graduate students will display opportunities on HSNRI's Career Opportunities webpage. Our Scientists also welcome inquiries from excellent candidates who are eager to pursue a PhD or MSc degree in their respective field of research. We encourage interested students to email our Scientists directly. Nearly all graduate students at HSNRI receive their degrees from Laurentian University's graduate programs. Details on application procedures, admissions requirements and the programs of study can be found on the graduate program website.

 

Postdoctoral Fellows
