Background and Experience
The HSN Board is seeking members with a professional accounting designation and/or professional experience related to law, research and communication information management, as well as members who serve in a leadership role in an academic institution. Preference will be given to individuals with experience supporting organizational equity, diversity, inclusion, accessibility and anti-racism.
HSN and HSNRI strive to ensure that their Boards reflect the diversity of the communities served. Individuals who identify as Indigenous, Black or racialized individuals, individuals who identify as 2SLGBTQ+ and persons with disabilities or from vulnerable populations are strongly encouraged to put forward an application.
Previous board or governance experience, whether in the public or private sector, is an asset.
Eligibility
A list of individuals not eligible to serve on the HSN Board (“Excluded Persons”) can be found under section 1.1(n) of the HSN Administrative By-Law.
